The Queen has been broadcasting her Christmas Message every Christmas Day for the last 50 years. At first they were broadcast live, but since the sixties they have been recorded previously and then transmitted on the day itself.
Apparently, Her Majesty likes to keep abreast of new ways to communicate and so the Palace now has its own site on You Tube!
