BBC iPlayer and Van Morrison

A simple idea, but one that is really taking off.

The BBC in the UK are making loads of their programs available through the interweb thingy by using something called the iPlayer. A nifty thing that allows you to browse the BBC's vast library and then play stuff on your PC. (Apparently, if you connect your PC to your TV via the s-video input the results are pretty impressive.)

See what you think by clicking the link above.

The BBC have also linked up with those guys from to provide iPlayer content through their console and straight onto your (HD) TV.

To give you a taster of the content available on iPlayer, here's the Van himself with a few songs.

Certainly making the unmissable, unmissable.

Christmas Gallery

When I wrap Ali's presents, I love to put little clues on the tags. For example on a Panasonic car CD player the clue was "Hedgehogs live to cook with these!!" (Sonic the Hedgehog loves to cook with Pans - Panasonic!!)

No Ali, they're George's slippers!!

Sydney, ever the Diva!! (This time she's the Christmas Diva!)

Arh! Give Mum a hug!!

The call of the Wii! (Playing Golf).

Pauline - Ali's Mum - in deep thought at Dan Dans' house in Farnborough. Not sure what Ali's sister Beeze is doing though!! Must be the vodka?!

Christmas 2007

I know it's the 28th, some 3 days after Christmas Day, but hey!! I wasn't going to be antisocial and be on the PC all day!!
So, how was it? I have to say, it was one of the best Christmases we've had. Georgina and Sydney (right) thought too as well! This is them opening their "main" present a Nintendo Wii.
I have to say, the Wii is one of the most fasinating games consoles I've ever played on. Only if you have been on another planet will you not know why it is so unique. In case you have been "Billy No-Mates" on the Moon, click on the Wii below.
As well as this most impressive of presents there where, of course, the sillier ones......... like George' s slippers!!
