What a Fantastic Day!

I woke this morning to see something I haven't seen for ages! No, I don't mean my toes as I stand at the mirror, brushing my teeth. They won't be seen for some time :o(
I mean the Sun! For ages now we've had dull, gloomy days and mild nights. Something the Met Office guys call "anticyclonic gloom".
As you can see from the pressure chart, we certainly do have a high pressure stuck over the top of us. This acts as a lid, trapping the cloud.

But as the High has moved, it has started to draw down cold, clear air from the North (the air flow is clockwise around a High pressure) So, clear, sunny days for the next few days methinks. But blumming cold at night!!
That's where Alison comes in! There's a lot to be said about the love of a good woman. And a good woman Alison certainly is! (Although she can be pretty bad sometimes and that is good too......if you get my drift!!)

There's nothing better than snuggling up to her on a cold night ("Warm your blummin' hands up J!!) and discussing the Meaning of Life! (Something like that anyway!! ;o) )

Right, there's a pile of ironing to do (new Man me!!) so I'm off!
